To increase public awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a talk on “如何戰勝慢阻肺病” was delivered to the public in the Cultural Center on November 25, 2006. This talk was organized by the Hong Kong Thoracic Society, the American College of Chest Physicians (HK & Macau chapter) and 聖雅各福群會企業拓展(協作). The talk was attended by more than 150 participants and the general public showed a lot of interest to this disease and had many interactions with the speaker in the “question and answer session”.
