This Certificate Course was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians (HK & Macau Chapter) and the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong. The course was composed of a series of lectures held every Tuesday evenings from 22nd September to 27 October 2009 in the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, Duke of Windsor Building at Wanchai.
Topics such as tuberculosis, fitness to fly, mechanical ventilation, respiratory failure, influenza, COPD and thrombo-embolic diseases, were delivered by a local panel of experts including Dr. CK Chan, Dr. KC Wong, Dr. Arthur Lau, Dr. WC Yu, Dr. Thomas Mok, Dr. WM Chan, Ms. WC Tang and Ms. Doris Tse.
