The Certificate Course on Respiratory Medicine 2016 was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Thoracic Society, CHEST Delegation Hong Kong and Macau and the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong. The course was successfully held on 6 Wednesdays from 5 October to 16 October 2016 at Duke of Windsor Social Service Building. The Course included topics on interventional bronchology, COPD pharmacotherapy, pleural diseases, antimicrobial resistance in respiratory tract infections, trouble shooting of CPAP therapy, telemonitoring for home mechanical ventilation, radiology imaging in respiratory diseases, and interpretation of lung function tests. A total of 107 nurse, allied health professionals and doctors enrolled to the course.

Lecure IV – Dr Lee Man Po on Antimicrobial resistance in respiratory tract infections – management and control strategies

Lecture V – Miss Lit Pik Kee, Maggie on Trouble shooting of CPAP therapy for obstructive sleep apnoea & Telemonitoing for home mechanical ventilation

Lecture VI – Dr Lam Wai Kei on Clinical application of radiological imaging in respiratory disease and interpretation of lung function tests
