The Inauguration Ceremony, 8 December 2012
It is my great pleasure to celebrate and witness together the establishment and inauguration of Hong Kong Respiratory Nursing College (HKRNC) on 8th December, 2012.
The aims of establishing the HKRNC are:
1. To promote sharing, cooperation and cohesion in respiratory nursing care among nurses allied health professionals in Hong Kong hospitals and those interested in the respiratory specialized care.
2. To standardize respiratory nursing cares to patients.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the honorary advisors and council members for their passion and contributions to HKRNC and I would also like to convey my heartfelt thanks to over 250 members and friends present here today.
It is just a first step in respiratory nursing development in Hong Kong and I am confident that it promotes the highest professional standards nursing services to the community in the nearly future.
