As part of its Elderly Smoking Cessation Promotion Project, the Hong Kong Council on Smoking and Health (COSH) held a community publicity event at MCP Discovery on 26 November 2025. The project seeks to raise public awareness of smoking hazards, dispel myths surrounding smoking and cessation, and motivate elderly smokers to quit. Dr. Macy Lui and Dr. P.S. Cheung represented the Hong Kong Thoracic Society (HKTS) and the Chest Delegation of Hong Kong, respectively, at this event to support the dissemination of vital smoke-free messages.
