Dr CY Tam, President of HKTS, and Maureen Wong, President of ACCP (HK & Macau Chapter) were invited to participate in the Anniversary Dinner of HKOTA in January 2010.
The occasion was memorable for everybody including guests and patient representatives. The event reached its climax when Dr York Chow sang three love songs to his wife, who is an occupational therapist from Australia, when thundering applause rocked the entire room. Our Presidential support and participation of the event mark the start of a whole series of activities in the current Year of the Lung (YOTL) 2010. Close collaborations amongst all health care professionals including doctors, nurses and allied health professionals would be necessary to achieve the ultimate goals of YOTL.
