The Autumn Respiratory Seminar (ARS) was successfully held on 14 – 15 November 2015 with the 4th Cross-Strait 4-Region COPD symposium as first of the two-day programme.
In the symposium speakers from Beijing, Macau, Taiwan, Guangzhou, Nanjing and Hong Kong delivered nine lectures on chronic airway diseases with their regional perspectives. ARS began on the next day with a symposium on COPD focusing on advances in pharmacotherapy, followed by the symposium on lung cancer management with a concurrent allied health symposium. The luncheon symposium discussed on inhale corticosteroid in COPD. Thereafter, first-hand clinical experience on MERS in Korea was presented as the hot topic. The ARS programme was well concluded with the symposium on management of sleep apnea.
