A special meeting with the title \u201cScientific Update on the Treatment of Asthma and COPD\u201d was held on July 20, 2006 at the Sheraton Hotel in Hong Kong. This meeting was organized by the Hong Kong Thoracic Society and the American College of Chest Physicians (Hong Kong and Macau Chapter). Professor Peter Barnes, the Professor of Thoracic Medicine, National Heart and Lung Institute and Head of Respiratory Medicine, Imperial College of the United Kingdom had given an enlightening talk on the newest approach to treatment of both asthma and COPD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
